Walnut Oil Naan Recipe

Ingredients for 8 naans:
- 200g of wheat flour
- 150g of yogurt
- ½ teaspoon of yeast
- Salt
- ½ teaspoon of smoked crushed black pepper
- 2 tablespoons of walnut oil
- 7cl of milk
- Melted butter
- Fresh coriander
Preparation :
-
In a large bowl, mix the flour, yeast, salt, and pepper. Add the yogurt and walnut oil, then gradually incorporate the warm milk. Knead until you get a smooth, soft, and slightly sticky dough.
-
Cover the dough with a clean cloth and let it rest for about 1 hour at room temperature, until it rises slightly.
-
Divide the dough into 4 to 6 equal portions. On a floured surface, roll each portion into a disk about 3 mm thick.
-
Heat a cast-iron skillet or non-stick pan over medium-high heat. Place a naan in the pan and cook for about 2 minutes, until bubbles form. Flip it and continue cooking for another 1 to 2 minutes. Repeat the process with the other naans.
-
Brush each hot naan with the melted butter mixture and sprinkle with chopped fresh coriander.
Enjoy your meal!
