The syrian muhammara recipe


Ingredients for the recipe:
- 3 grilled bell peppers
- 90g walnut kernels
- 2 tbsp of yellow lemon juice
- 1 tsp of garlic paste
- 1 tbsp of breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp of cumin powder
- 2 tbsp of olive oil
- 1 tbsp of aleppo pepper flakes
Preparation:
in a blender bowl, add all the ingredients except the olive oil and aleppo pepper.
blend at full speed for 2 minutes until you get a smooth and creamy texture.
pour into a bowl, add a drizzle of olive oil and a pinch of aleppo pepper flakes for the final touch.
serve with toasted bread, crackers, or as a side to a delicious oriental mezze!
