Smoked Curry Deviled Eggs Recipe

 
 
 

 

Ingredients for 4 servings:

Preparation:

  • Place the eggs in a saucepan of boiling water and cook them for 10 minutes, until fully hard-boiled.

  • Then, rinse them under cold water to stop the cooking process, and peel them carefully.

  • Cut the eggs in half lengthwise and carefully remove the yolks.

  • Place the yolks in a bowl, then mash them with a fork.

  • Add the mustard, mayonnaise, smoked curry, a pinch of salt, pepper, and, if desired, a little turmeric to enhance the color.

  • Mix well until the texture is creamy. If the mixture seems too thick, add a splash of water or some cream.

  • Using a spoon or piping bag, fill the egg whites with the curry filling.

  • Lightly sprinkle the top with some smoked curry powder.

  • Decorate with fresh chopped herbs, such as chives or dill.
