The Mandises Recipe, These Muffins with a Melting Heart
Ingredients:
- 100 grams of butter
- 2 eggs
- 90 grams of sugar
- 2 tsp of vanilla brown sugar
- 1 yogurt
- 100 ml of milk
- 250 grams of flour
- 1/2 packet of baking powder
- 1 tbsp of vanilla extract
- 100 grams of chocolate chips
- 1 pinch of Fleur de Sel de Guérande IGP
- 12 cubes of hazelnut spread
The day before, freeze 12 portions of hazelnut spread in an ice cube tray.
Preparation:
- On the day of baking, melt the butter in the microwave.
- In a bowl, mix the sugar and eggs until smooth.
- Add the melted butter and mix well.
- Then incorporate the milk, vanilla extract, and yogurt.
- Add the flour, baking powder, and a pinch of salt, then mix until you get a smooth batter.
- Pour in the chocolate chips and mix one last time.
- Pour the batter into muffin molds placed on a baking tray.
- Insert a frozen cube of hazelnut spread into the center of each muffin, pressing it in slightly.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 20 minutes.
