The Mandises Recipe, These Muffins with a Melting Heart

 
 
 

 

Ingredients: 

The day before, freeze 12 portions of hazelnut spread in an ice cube tray.

Preparation: 

  • On the day of baking, melt the butter in the microwave.
  • In a bowl, mix the sugar and eggs until smooth.
  • Add the melted butter and mix well.
  • Then incorporate the milk, vanilla extract, and yogurt.
  • Add the flour, baking powder, and a pinch of salt, then mix until you get a smooth batter.
  • Pour in the chocolate chips and mix one last time.
  • Pour the batter into muffin molds placed on a baking tray.
  • Insert a frozen cube of hazelnut spread into the center of each muffin, pressing it in slightly.
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 20 minutes.
