Recipe for Gochugaru chili oil

 

Homemade gochugaru chili oil is a wonderful way to spice up your dishes with a Korean touch. Easy to prepare, it uses gochugaru, a crushed red pepper with a mild, smoky flavor. As a marinade, this oil brings meats, vegetables and seafood to life, adding delicious, flavorful heat. Making this oil at home ensures perfect freshness and intensity to spice up your favorite recipes.

 

 

Ingredients :

 

  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 5 tsp Gochugaru pepper flakes
  • 3 tsp golden sesame seeds
  • 1 tsp flower of salt
  • 1 cardamom pod
  • 1 pinch of powdered ginger
  • Grapeseed oilpépins de raisin

Preparation 

 

  • Chop the garlic cloves and place them in a jam jar ;
  • Add 5 teaspoons of Gochugaru pepper, then a teaspoon of fleur de sel, and finally 3 teaspoons of golden sesame seeds ;
  • Continue with a pod of cardamom and a pinch of powdered ginger ;
  • Cover everything with grapeseed oi l;
  • Mix well, and it's ready !
