Beetroot hummus
Hummus is a healthy and delicious recipe originating from the Middle East, with eight countries claiming its paternity. This dish, made from chickpeas and sesame cream (Tahini), is rich in fiber and protein.
Very popular as an appetizer, it can be found on tables all over the world!
Its success is due to its simplicity, but especially to its creamy and melting texture. It is enjoyed with flatbread, vegetable sticks, or as an accompaniment with salads or falafels.
Traditional hummus can be varied endlessly according to your taste: carrots, tomatoes, peppers. There are even dessert versions with chocolate or cinnamon initiated by New Yorkers.
