Grilled Fish with Smoked Curry
Ingredients
- 4 white fish fillets (cod, hake, or sea bream)
- 2 tablespoons of smoked curry Terre Exotique
- 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil from Crete
- 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
- 1 minced garlic clove
- Salt and pepper
- Fresh coriander for garnish (optional)
- Lemon slices for serving / vegetables of your choice
Instructions
- Prepare the marinade: In a bowl, mix the olive oil, smoked curry, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Stir well to obtain a smooth paste.
- Marinate the fish: Generously coat the fish fillets with the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes to 1 hour to allow the flavors to permeate the fish.
- Preheat the grill: Preheat the grill or barbecue to medium heat. You can also use an indoor grill pan if you don't have a barbecue.
- Grill the fish: Place the fish fillets on the hot grill. Cook for about 3 to 4 minutes on each side, depending on the thickness of the fillets, until the fish is nicely browned on the outside and cooked through. The fish should be tender and easily flake with a fork.
- Serve: Serve the fish hot with lemon slices to enhance the flavors and garnish with fresh coriander if desired. This dish pairs perfectly with basmati rice, grilled vegetables, or a light salad.
This grilled fish with smoked curry combines woody and spicy notes for a simple yet flavorful dish.
