Sautéed Shrimp with Three Wild Peppers
Ingredients for the recipe:
- 500 g of shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil from Huilerie Beaujolaise
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon of soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon of honey
- 1 tablespoon of pepper sauce (optional, for more flavor)
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced into strips
- A handful of fresh coriander leaves, chopped (for garnish)
- 1 tablespoon of Three Wild Peppers from Terre Exotique
- Cooked rice, for serving
Methods:
- In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until lightly golden.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet and sauté for 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and are well-cooked. Sprinkle ground black pepper over the shrimp and mix well.
- In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, honey, and optionally the pepper sauce. Add this mixture to the shrimp and stir to coat them evenly.
- Add the strips of red bell pepper to the skillet and sauté with the shrimp for a few minutes until they are slightly tender. Remove the skillet from the heat.
- Serve the sautéed pepper shrimp over a bed of cooked rice. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
