Goat Cheese Log with Salad Seeds and Pistachios
Ingredients for the recipe:
- 1 goat cheese log (about 200 g)
- 50 g unsalted pistachios, coarsely chopped
- 50 g Terre Exotique salad seeds
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 2 tablespoons olive oil from Huilerie Beaujolaise
- Freshly ground pepper
Methods:
- Coarsely chop the pistachios and mix them with the Terre Exotique salad seeds in a bowl.
- In another bowl, mix the honey and olive oil.
- Roll the goat cheese log in the honey-olive oil mixture, ensuring it is well coated.
- Next, roll the log in the pistachio and seed mixture, pressing gently to adhere the seeds and pistachios to the entire surface of the cheese.
- Place the coated goat cheese log in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to blend and the seeds to adhere well.
- Remove the goat cheese log from the refrigerator a few minutes before serving to bring it to room temperature.
