Recipe for Spiced Smoothie with Ginger and Cinnamon

 

 
 
 
 
 
 

 

Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1/2 green apple
  • 1 cup fresh spinach
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or other plant-based milk)
  • 1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon of ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon of chia seeds
  • A few ice cubes

Preparation:

 

  • Peel and cut the banana and apple into pieces.

  • Place all ingredients into a blender: banana, apple, spinach (if included), almond milk, cinnamon, ginger, chia seeds, and ice cubes.

  • Blend until smooth and homogeneous.

  • Pour the smoothie into a glass and optionally sprinkle with a pinch of cinnamon for an aesthetic touch.

Enjoy it as a breakfast, snack, or light dessert!
