Endive, apple, and walnut salad

 

Ingredients for the Recipe:

 

Preparation:

  • Remove the base of the endives to reduce bitterness, then finely slice them.

  • Wash the apples thoroughly, remove the core, and cut them into thin slices or small cubes, according to preference.

  • In a dry pan, toast the walnut kernels over low heat for 2-3 minutes to enhance their flavor.

  • In a small bowl, mix the extra virgin olive oil from Huilerie Beaujolaise, apple cider vinegar, honey, a pinch of salt, and pepper. Whisk well to emulsify.

  • In a salad bowl, combine the endives, apples, and walnuts. Pour the vinaigrette over and mix gently.

  • Generously sprinkle the Trapper's Blend from Terre Exotique to enhance the dish with its slightly sweet and spicy notes.

  • Serve immediately to enjoy the crispiness and freshness of this flavorful and well-balanced salad.
