Neapolitan Bruschetta

Discover the bruschetta recipe with the Neapolitan-style blend from Terre Exotique. A delicious idea for a crispy appetizer. Also perfect as an entrée.

Ingredients 

  • Slices of bread (preferably country bread or baguette)
  • 2 to 3 cloves of fresh garlic
  • Neapolitan-style blend (quantity according to your preference)
  • Ripe tomatoes
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt and pepper
  • Fresh basil (optional, for garnish)

 

Preparation

  1. Start by grilling the bread slices. You can do this in a toaster, oven, or on a grill.
  2. While the bread is grilling, peel the garlic cloves and cut them in half.
  3. Once the bread is grilled, generously rub each slice with the cut side of the garlic. This will infuse the bread with garlic flavor.
  4. Wash the tomatoes and chop them into small dice (concassé). Make sure to remove the seeds if preferred.
  5. Arrange the diced tomatoes on the grilled and garlic-rubbed bread slices. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Drizzle a little extra virgin olive oil over each bruschetta.
  7. Sprinkle with Neapolitan-style blend according to your preference.
  8. If desired, you can garnish your bruschettas with fresh basil leaves to add freshness and aroma.
  9. Serve immediately as an appetizer or entrée. Bruschettas should be enjoyed warm to fully appreciate their flavor and crispy texture.
