Lebanese Falafels

 

Ingredients for the recipe :

 

Methods:

 

  1. Drain the chickpeas and pat them dry completely.
  2. In a food processor, add the chickpeas and pulse until mashed. Set aside.
  3. In the same food processor bowl, add the parsley, coriander, garlic, and half onion. Pulse until finely chopped, then add to the mashed chickpeas.
  4. Add the spices, salt, pepper, cumin, Aleppo pepper flakes, and sesame seeds to the mixture. Mix well.
  5. In a saucepan or deep fryer, heat some oil. Once the oil is hot, use two tablespoons to form the mixture into quenelles and fry them in the hot oil until golden brown.
  6. Place the falafels on a paper towel to absorb excess oil.
  7. Serve with a salad or in a pita bread with yogurt sauce, and enjoy!
