How to prepare Atitlan coffee?

To prepare Arabica coffee beans, grind the beans just before brewing to preserve their freshness and aromas. Adjust the grind: medium-fine for a filter coffee machine, fine for a French press or espresso machine. Measure between 7 and 10 grams of coffee per cup of water according to your preferences. Heat the water to a temperature of 90-95°C and pour it slowly over the ground coffee. Let it brew for 4 to 5 minutes, then filter or press depending on the method used. To accompany this coffee, choose flavors that highlight its balanced and delicate aromas: pastries such as croissants, madeleines or shortbread, or even fresh fruits such as berries and citrus fruits, for a pleasant contrast of freshness.

The aromas of Atitlan coffee

Atitlan Arabica coffee offers a rich and refined tasting experience. Its taste is balanced, with notes of chocolate, red fruits, and a light floral fragrance. This coffee is known for its smoothness in the mouth, its creamy texture and its well-controlled acidity.

The culture of Atitlan coffee

Atitlan Arabica coffee is grown in the mountains of Guatemala, a region renowned for its ideal growing conditions. The cool climate and volcanic soil create a perfect environment for Arabica, which requires low temperatures and high altitude to develop slowly and intensely.
